13 Georgia juniors traveled to Cookeville, Tennessee for the SE Regional Junior Hereford Show June 17 through the 18th.
Showmanship
Winning PeeWee Showmanship was Harrision Hutton, who’s actually from South Carolina, but a GJHA member!
Krissi McCurdy was the Senior Showmanship winner.
Class
Bringing home 2nd in her Cow/Calf Class was Shelly Patton.
In Class 11 Winter Heifer Calves, Morgan Fondren was 5th, and Dalton Green was 7th. Morgan was 1st in that Bred and Owned Class.
In Class 12 Krissi McCurdy was 1st, and 1st B/O, Morgan Fondren was 2nd, Krissi McCurdy was 4th, and Luke Wilson was 5th.
In Class 13 Senior Heifer Calves, Matthew Murphy was 1st, Gabe Brogdon was 2nd, Shelly Patton was 3rd, and 1st B/O, Case Wilson 4th, Harrison Hutton 6th, and Seth Robinson 7th.
Class 14 – Case Wilson was 2ndand Houston Hutton 4th.
Ins Class 15 Krissi McCurdy was 1st, Shelly Patton 3rd, and Morgan Fondren 8th.
Champion Fall Heifer Calf was Krissi McCurdy’s Class 15 Heifer, and the Reserve Champion B/O Fall Heifer was Krissi McCurdy’s Class 12 Heifer.
In Late Summer Yearlings, Class 16 Harrison Hutton was 4th, Class 20 Junior Yearlings Krissi McCurdy was 3rd, Class 21 Krissi McCurdy was 2nd;
Class 22 Senior Yearling Heifers – Houston Hutton was 1st, Shelly Patton was 8th, and 1st B/O, and Hunter Grayson was 9th.
Class 23 Gabe Brogdon was 3rd, Morgan Fondren was 4th, Seth Robinson 9th.
Reserve Champion Senior Yearling was Houston Hutton, Class 22.
Champion B/O Senior Yearling was Gabe Brodgon, class 23, and Reserve B/O Senior Yearling was Shelly Patton, Class 22.
